PSEUDO SCIENCE AND PSEUDO RELIGION
Each century Christianity has confronted heresies within and without and the latest debauchery of our time, is Theistic Evolution (TE) or Evolutionary Creationism. It is a meticulously designed New Religion that dismisses and diminishes the fundamental doctrines of Christianity and renders the God of the Bible obsolete. The core beliefs of TE are:
The universe came into existence around fourteen billion years ago from nothing and the precise mechanism by which life arose remains unknown. (Doesn’t the Bible teach that God has spoken and that things have come to pass? “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1:1)
2. Evolution is a plain fact and evolution and natural selection shaped the diversity and complexity of life. Once evolution took over, supernatural involvement ceased. There is harmony between evolution and creation.
3. Humans share ancestry with apes through the process of evolution (The Bible says God created man in His own image Genesis 1:27) and man evolved from a monkey. Instead of openly stating that man evolved from a monkey, they distort the narrative by claiming that man evolved from a monkey-like ancestor. Where is the scientific evidence? Has anyone ever met a hybrid monkey/man?
One of the chief architects of this deception is Francis Collins (former Director of the Human Genome Project at the National Institute of Health). According to Collins, when evolution took over, the God of TE absconded or evaporated. Every verse in the Bible is spun in such a way to suit the above agenda. TE denies the creation account and frames Genesis chapters 1-11 as myth and figurative. TE does not acknowledge Adam as the first man, but a myth and negates the redemptive work of Christ.
LET US PONDER
To any rational mind, TE is nothing more than the same old “evolution soup or e-soup” in the same old bottle with a new label, “Harmony.” Collins asserts TE is the higher standard of objective truth, and depicts the very God of the Bible as an obsolete spectator incapable of creating man in His image. Collins provided no evidence to prove the cause of evolution or cessation of the supernatural. Also, he fails to explain how lifeless molecules brought forth the innate human spirit in man.
I have simple reasoning. God is either sovereign or not, and the logic is simple. A bird is either alive or dead and just as it cannot be alive and dead at the same time, evolution and creation cannot be valid at the same time. The God of the Bible declares, “No man can serve two masters.” A cautionary note to theists, particularly Christians, do not step on a banana! If you step on it, you are killing your cousin because you share 50% of your DNA with your banana cousin. Also, be vigilant when drinking soup because you are drinking (killing) your primordial cousin (primordial soup).
