Having spent $10 billion, the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) finally released some of the most impressive images of the heavens. However, surprisingly, the images reveal that many galaxies appear smooth, many small and old; in other words, galaxies far away look similar to those close by, and the Universe is not expanding, while objects look proportional to their distance. This is because the James Webb captures images across the infrared spectrum (more distant objects are more heavily redshifted) while Hubble studies at optical and ultraviolet wavelengths. The Big Bang hypothesis, the mother of all theories, was first proposed by Georges Lemaitre a catholic priest and scientist. The theory predicts that the Universe began 14 billion years ago in an incredibly hot and compact state and had been expanding. However, the discovery of JWST starkly contrasts with the mother's prediction by stating that the Universe did not begin 14 billion years ago. Physicist Eric Lerner wrote a book titled, “The Big Bang never happened” and put forth valid arguments against the Big Bang. One Astronomer’s panic is evidently palpable when she said, “Right now I find myself lying awake at three in the morning, and wondering if everything I’ve done is wrong.” (Alison Kirkpatrick, The University of Kansas in Lawrence).

Followers of the religion of atheism and evolution are obviously at odds with the interpretation of the data, and they must come up with different conjectures that should take them back 14 billion years to suit their preconceived godless agenda. Like evolutionists create life from an imaginary "prebiotic soup," the Big Bangers are determined to revive their imaginary diaper baby.
