SCRIPTURE
And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and everything that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:24,25
QUOTE
“Scientists who teach that evolution is a fact of life are great con men, and the story they are telling may be the greatest hoax ever. In explaining evolution, we do not have one iota of fact.” Dr. T. N. Tahmisian, Atomic Energy Commission, USA.
SCIENCE
Anatomically (upright posture) and physiologically, humans and chimpanzees differ significantly. Man alone possesses unique cognitive, linguistic, and technical skills. Man has consciousness and ponders the idea of immortality, eternity, and heaven. While the chimpanzee has 48 chromosomes, humans possess 46 chromosomes. However, evolutionists such as Dawkins claim that the DNA of chimps (Pan troglodytes) and humans (Homo sapiens) is 99%similar. Because of the similarity, they believe man and chimp have a common ancestor. Evolutionists assert you must go back 300,000 generations to find 299,998th-great chimp/man grandparent. Where is the scientific evidence?
To what extent are human and chimpanzee genomes similar? In a 2018 study by evolutionist Richard Buggs from the University of London, the percentage of nucleotides in the human genome that had exact one-to-one matches in the chimpanzee genome was 84.38%. Evolutionist Jeffrey Tompkins of Clemson University obtained a similar outcome. He aligned 18,000 pieces of chimpanzee DNA and found that only 84.4% of the sequences were compatible. Comparing DNA sequences reveals that genetic differences between humans and chimpanzees amount to 35 million changes in baseline pairs in each species and 689 unique human genes. These facts show that the common human-chimpanzee ancestry is simply a myth.
LET US PONDER
The world is familiar with the Piltdown Man hoax, where man and ape bones have been assembled to create a chimera. The ability to adapt to minor variations is inherent in the Genetic code when God created living things, including man. God created man in God’s image, not the image of a monkey, and Christ died for man’s salvation. Thumbs, for example, is practical for monkeys to swing across trees, and humans adapted to work in the field. The Ape/Man similarity reminds me of the following analogy. I found a sinkhole in Mexico and another in Florida. They look similar; therefore, they must have a common ancestor originating in Africa.
Just as an amoeba remains a single-cell organism for billions of years (if one believes in evolution), a monkey remains a monkey, man remains a man, and begets offspring after their kind. The genetic similarity suggests that men and monkeys share a common designer, not a common descent.
